Hi, I’m Hallie!
After 20+ years in corporate settings, neglecting my deep desires to create, I am so thankful to now shift my focus to art. My deep dive into the world of ceramics began in 2019, followed shortly by the beginning of my pattern design journey in 2022. I absolutely love to see my work come alive, especially in the form of ceramic pieces and paper products! My artistic endeavors, however, aren’t restricted to just the worlds of clay and pattern. I also love more traditional art forms like painting and drawing, taking photographs of plants and places I travel, and pretty much any craft I have time to try. I experiment a lot!
The abundance of nature and the cultures of places where I have lived and traveled are some of my biggest inspirations, as well as an affinity for architecture and interior design. As a Francophile, previous expat, and once semi-fluent speaker, French culture resonates with me deeply, and you may find its influence woven into my work.
I currently live in Central Oregon and love to hike, forage for mushrooms, bird watch, identify native plants, paddle board, run, stargaze, and roam for inspiration with my adorable Australian Shepherd.
